I used to believe I couldn’t afford to invest in myself. Every course, every resource—I’d instantly shut it down with, “Not right now.” Then one day, I was reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and I saw this quote that hit me like a punch in the gut: “The poor and middle class say, ‘I can’t afford it.’ The rich say, ‘How can I afford it?’” That single mindset shift changed my life. I realized I was asking the wrong question. Instead of finding a way forward, I was reinforcing my limits.

Around the same time, I went to a charity event and saw people giving generously—impacting lives. I wanted to give too… but I couldn’t. Not because I didn’t care, but because I hadn’t built anything that gave me options. That’s when it clicked: I wasn’t just financially stuck—I was mentally stuck.

So I made a different decision. I said yes to a small, low-ticket offer. Just $7. But here’s the truth—it wasn’t about the money. It was about choosing myself for the first time. That $7 playbook became the foundation of my first digital offer. It helped me create clarity, launch confidently, and start bringing in monthly income online.

They weren’t being ‘sold’—they were choosing to buy.  And they even started coming to me organically because they heard of the impact I was helping other businesses with!

I remember staring at my laptop thinking, “What would I even sell?” I wasn’t an “expert.” I didn’t have a big following. And I definitely didn’t think I had anything worth paying for. But then someone asked me a question that flipped everything:

“What do people always come to you for help with?”

I realized people were always asking me how I stayed organized… how I managed to start something on the side while working full-time… or how I got consistent with content. Things I thought were normal, but to them?

That was value. So I turned that into a simple offer. Nothing fancy. Just packaging something I already knew into a framework others could follow. That one digital offer brought in my first few customers—and gave me the confidence to keep going.

My biggest fear is failing.  So much that it caused me to to take action for years!  I was always waiting for the ‘perfect time’—but the perfect time never came. I’d watch others succeed and think, ‘What do they have that I don’t?’Then I learned something powerful: failure isn’t what happens when you try—it’s what happens when you do nothing.  I learned that taking imperfect action trumps no action everytime!!  I decided to take action and just start!  

Create One offer. One conversation. One customer.

And it worked.
